Year 7 Learning

Year 7 from their very first lesson is introduced to the school system, both within the classroom and online via Microsoft 365. The curriculum then moves through the basics of how a computer works, inputs / outputs and memory and then exploring MS Excel to aid science and mathematics. The students then are then given the opportunity to learn Image manipulation with a hands-on approach using Adobe design products.

The end of the year encompasses a programming project using the building block programming package Scratch and moving through a software development life cycle before actually creating a finished product.
