New Year 7 Students

Welcome to Year 7 at New College Leicester!

I am thrilled that you are starting the academic year here at New College Leicester.  This is the start of a new and exciting journey for us all.  I have high expectations for Year 7 and my goal and vision is to make this year group the best year group ever!

At New College Leicester we have high aspirations for everyone and will help you all to settle in school so that you can achieve your full potential.  We will offer many opportunities for you to discover your strengths, values and skills (#ThisIsUs).  We will adhere to, and demonstrate, our college’s core values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Resourcefulness at all times.

We will recognise your hard work and celebrate your success at every opportunity. Your progress and success will be shared with your parents and carers who will be kept informed throughout your journey at New College Leicester.

I work very closely with your primary schools and know how they provide you with a really good start to your education.  I will be meeting with your primary school teachers to ensure that you have a smooth transition to New College Leicester.
