Tag Rugby Breakfast club Wednesday mornings.
Ruby is a good club it teaches me how to play the sport and play is safely. I have learnt how to catch the ball and drop-kick the ball. I really enjoy the club before school as it helps me get ready for my lessons.
Every Wednesday morning, we have a coach from Leicester tigers deliver rugby sessions as part of our PE breakfast club. The benefits of this club is that influences our students to be physically active, helping them to achieve their daily exercise, whilst having fun and learning to play the sport. These sessions start at 8am and go on for 45 minutes, and It’s great to see the dedication from our students arriving early to school to take part in rugby. At the end these sessions they’re rewarded a light breakfast.
The students at New College Leicester are motivated and passionate about sport. They are enthusiastic participants and show great progress every session, making every session enjoyable to coach.
