2 hours of Core Physical Education is taught to all students in Years 7, 8 and 9 as it is very important to continue to participate in PE lessons in order to develop a healthy lifestyle and to remain active. Some of the sports we teach in Key Stage 3 are:
Students also take part in 1 hour of theory per week where students learn about topics such as the structure of the body, fitness methods and training and how to be a good leader. This is to help prepare students when given the opportunity to take PE in Key Stage 4 as an examination subject.
