Inspire Together – KS4 Girls’ Football Tournament

Our intrepid KS4 girls’ football team recently took part in a football tournament held at the Goals Football Centre. Organised by the Schools Sports Partnership, the event was held to provide students with the opportunity to play against those from other schools in the area.

Their sterling efforts and positive attitude resulted in a 1 nil win against Sir Jonathan North, and a 2 -1 win against Orchard Mead Academy but we could not overcome a talented team from Rushy Mead and lost 2- 0.

Above all, the students were thrilled to take part in the event and are keen to play more games. Given their enthusiasm, we have since arranged more friendly fixtures.
