Fun and Challenge at Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre

Year 7 students were well and truly tested when they visited the Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre (LOPC) recently. Offering a host of activities, the LOPC was a great choice to reward our year 7s for their excellent behaviour and efforts during PE.

This was no stroll in the park however, as the range of physical activities undertaken challenged the confidence and skills of our students. The Gladiator Challenge was particularly demanding! Hard hats on, the students were soon climbing and abseiling trying out their newly learned skills.

Mr Williams, PE Teacher, comments:

“It was a pleasure to accompany the year 7s on this visit and to see their willingness to have a go at a range of quite demanding activities. They supported each other well and the great behaviour we see during lessons at school continued throughout the day which made the visit particularly enjoyable. Well done year 7s.”
